Your data
Delete your data
DeckPad has no accounts and no servers that hold your data. Everything it stores is on your own phone and PC, so you can remove it completely yourself, at any time.
There's no account to delete
DeckPad doesn't have user accounts, and the apps don't send your data to us or anyone else. That means there's nothing stored on our side to request or delete. Your button profiles, icons, settings, pairing details and logs exist only on your phone and your PC. The steps below remove them. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what is stored where.
On your phone
The phone app stores a random device identifier, the pairing token for your PC, a copy of your buttons and icons, and its settings. Either of these removes all of it:
- Uninstall the app: long-press the DeckPad icon → Uninstall, or go through Google Play → DeckPad → Uninstall.
- Keep the app but erase its data: Android Settings → Apps → DeckPad → Storage (or Storage & cache) → Clear data (called Clear storage on some phones).
DeckPad opts out of Android's cloud backup, so no copy is left in your Google account.
On your PC
- Right-click the DeckPad icon next to the clock and choose Quit.
- Uninstall DeckPad for Windows: on Windows 11, Settings → Apps → Installed apps → … next to DeckPad → Uninstall; on Windows 10, Settings → Apps → Apps & features → DeckPad → Uninstall.
- Delete these two folders if they're still there. To open one, paste it into the File Explorer address bar and press Enter:
- %AppData%\DeckPad: settings, button profiles and their backups, and the list of paired phones.
- %LocalAppData%\DeckPad: icon cache, list of your PC's apps, and logs.
That's everything. DeckPad doesn't store data anywhere else on the PC. Its “Start with Windows” entry is removed when you untick Start with Windows in its menu or uninstall it.
Just unpair a phone
To stop a phone from controlling the PC while keeping your buttons:
- On the phone: DeckPad → Settings → Forget this PC.
- On the PC: right-click the DeckPad icon → Paired devices → the phone → Remove….
